Welcome to the official Blaseball Discord server!

This space is an extension of the Blaseball dot com website and is used to discuss all things Blaseball. It is the only community space managed by staff of The Game Band and volunteer moderators known as Groundskeepers. These rules outline our expectations for this space - expectations in other Blaseball community spaces may vary, and any issues with those spaces should be brought up with those spaces’ leadership.

Minor or 1st infractions usually receive a warning, and explicit violations of the rules or multiple infractions usually result in a mute. Multiple warnings or mutes may result in a ban.

The staff of the Official Blaseball Discord reserves the right to, at any time:

• Invite, kick, ban, mute or otherwise modify the experience of any user
• Add, remove, edit, and curate any channel
• Remove messages, reactions, images and embeds from the server

RULE 1: KEEP IT RESPECTFUL

🚫 Bigotry, hate speech, and harassment are not tolerated here. Regardless of intent, behaviors that marginalize others will be acted on, and violators of this rule (on or off this server) may be banned without warning.

🚫 Flashing gifs of more than 2 flashes per second are banned due to safety concerns; even spoilered, the flashing remains visible and animated on some clients.

RULE 2: KEEP IT FOCUSED

✅ Understand the purpose of this server and how you’re using it! This is a public discord server for talking about the video game Blaseball, so moderators will redirect behavior elsewhere if it doesn’t use the space for that purpose.

If your posting is taking away space that could be used for other people discussing Blaseball, stop posting, and move to a different space better suited for that purpose.
